Yash Attal is a seasoned professional in the field of research and development, currently serving as a Senior R&D Project Manager at PROCEPT BioRobotics since June 2017. In this role, Yash leads a cross-functional team to implement artificial intelligence features that aid surgeons in surgical device setup, overseeing the development of a next-generation GUI compliant with IEC62304 standards. Previous positions at PROCEPT included R&D Project Manager and Sr. R&D Engineer, where Yash successfully utilized Agile methodologies to enhance product life and facilitate the rollout of an Autonomous Surgical Robotic System. Yash also has experience as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, and as an R&D Engineer Intern contributing to the Aquabeam Surgical Robotic System. Currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley, Yash holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the same institution.
