Guillermo Farias has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Guillermo is currently the CEO of Primera Base since August 2019 and inTeam Digital Workplace since January 2018. Prior to this, they served as the CTO of Tecnológico de Monterrey from November 2014 to December 2017. Guillermo was also the Founder and CTO of Veramiko from June 2009 to November 2014. Before that, they worked as the CTO of Causas.org from 2008 to 2012, where they developed a social network that connected people in need with those who wanted to help. Guillermo was also the CTO of HistoClinic.net from December 2005 to December 2010. Additionally, Farias co-founded and served as the CEO of PCXmedia, where they developed HoraDeComer.com, an online restaurant guide in Mexico. Guillermo had also worked as the CTO of HoraDeComer.com during the same time period. In 2010, they briefly served as the CTO of Fut11, where they developed a Mexican fantasy soccer platform and a social gaming application that gained 200,000 users within 30 days.

Guillermo Farias attended Tecnológico de Monterrey from 2001 to 2005, where they studied Mechanical Engineering. In 2016, they completed a course in User Experience (UX) at Cooper Professional Education. Additionally, in 2013, Guillermo attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for an unspecified program or field of study.
