Bruce Babcock has extensive work experience in operations and lean manufacturing. Bruce started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Boeing and later worked as a Project Engineer at R.Lynette & Associates. Bruce then joined Korry Electronics, where they held various roles including Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Product Manager, General Manager, and Vice President. At Korry Electronics, Babcock implemented visual management systems and improved product line financial performance. Bruce later worked at IDD Aerospace as Operational Excellence Coordinator. Bruce then moved on to Zodiac Aerospace, where they served as Lean Regional Director and Director of Operations, implementing lean manufacturing techniques and improving delivery performance. Babcock also worked at Electric Mirror, LLC as VP Operations, overseeing all operations activities and ensuring cohesive structure and direction. Prior to joining Primary Weapons Systems as Vice President Operations, Babcock worked as a Lean Consultant, helping companies achieve operational success through the deployment of lean manufacturing principles. At Primary Weapons Systems, they led a team on a continuous improvement journey to improve operational performance and revenue output. Overall, Babcock has a strong background in operations, lean manufacturing, and leadership roles.
Bruce Babcock attended Seattle Pacific University from 1979 to 1982, where they studied Engineering with a focus on liberal arts. From 1982 to 1984, they pursued Mechanical Engineering at the University of Washington and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in that field.
