Tamala Johnson, MSW, LCSW, is a dedicated social worker with over 23 years of experience across various settings, including private, community, and residential. Currently serving in the Social Services department at Primaria Health since August 2019 and as the Owner of Heartstrings 411 since January 2018, Tamala has previously held positions such as Behavior Health Professional at Soft Power Solutions and Crisis Counselor at Health and Hospital Corporation/Eskenazi Health. Additionally, Tamala worked as the State Director for Social Services at Transition Resource Corporation, supporting children and families in the HeadStart program, and as a Homebase Counselor with the Indiana Juvenile Justice Task Force. Tamala holds a Master of Social Work degree from Indiana University Indianapolis, earned between 2000 and 2006.
