Nelson Arroyo is an experienced English teacher with a robust educational background and diverse teaching experiences. Currently positioned at Riverdale Country School since August 2020 and at Prep for Prep since August 2016, Nelson has previously served as a High School English Teacher for the NYC Department of Education from September 2015 to August 2020 and as a NYC Teaching Fellow with the National Center for Teacher Residencies from September 2015 to August 2016. Educationally, Nelson holds a Master of Education in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Hunter College (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from John Jay College (CUNY) (2013-2015).
