Chloé Moritz has a diverse work experience in the field of proteomics and scientific research. Chloé is currently working as a Field Application Scientist at PreOmics since January 2022. Previously, they worked as a PhD student in proteomics at the Institut Pluridisciplinaire Hubert Curien - CNRS from October 2018 to October 2021. During their PhD, they focused on methodological developments in proteomic analysis, including sample preparation protocols and implementation of automated sample preparation platforms. Chloé also handled the maintenance and day-to-day work of a nLC-IMS-Q-TOF coupling system.
Prior to their PhD, Chloé had worked as an R&D engineer intern at PreOmics from February 2018 to July 2018. Chloé also gained research experience as a research engineer intern at the Institut Pluridisciplinaire Hubert Curien - CNRS in November 2017 and at bioMérieux in May 2016. At bioMérieux, they were involved in characterizing microorganisms using mass spectrometry and maintaining a microorganism collection.
Chloé's early work experience includes a research lab technician apprenticeship at the French National Institute for Agricultural Research from September 2013 to August 2015.
Overall, Chloé Moritz has developed expertise in proteomic analysis, sample preparation, and instrument maintenance through their work experience in various research and engineering roles.
Chloé Moritz received their education in a chronological manner. Chloé began their academic journey in 2013 at the Ecole Supérieure des Techniques de Biologie Appliquée (ESTBA) where they pursued a BTS Bio-analyses and controls in apprenticeship degree. Following that, they attended ESBS from 2015 to 2018 where they earned an Engineering degree in biotechnology with a mention in High-throughput and a Master 2 research degree. Chloé Moritz's educational journey culminated at the University of Strasbourg from 2018 to 2021, where they received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry.
