Yong Sing You is a Staff Data Scientist at Ario since October 2023, previously serving as a Research Scientist at Samba TV from October 2018 to October 2023, focusing on perceptual image hashing and enhancing video content matching. Prior experience includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Stanford University where research on strong field dynamics in semiconductors was published in prestigious journals and presented at international conferences, alongside the automation of image-based data workflows. Yong Sing You had previously worked at the University of Maryland, first as a Postdoctoral Fellow and then as a Research Assistant, concentrating on terahertz emissions from plasma and advanced data analysis techniques. Additionally, Yong Sing You contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maryland, supporting physics education for undergraduate students. Yong Sing You holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from the University of Maryland and a B.S. in Physics from National Taiwan Normal University.
