Amanda Cheng is an experienced actuarial analyst currently working at Premera Blue Cross since December 2021. Amanda served as an Event Coordinator for the UW Actuarial Club from September 2018 to June 2021, where coordination of technical workshops and bonding events led to a 50% increase in attendance. As a member of the same club, participation in mentorship programs and professional training workshops facilitated networking with local actuarial firms. Prior experience includes mathematics tutoring for students ranging from elementary to senior high school and an internship at Bank Of Ningbo Co., Ltd, where Amanda engaged with over 50 clients daily and contributed to the bank's internal knowledge contest. Amanda holds Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Washington, completed in 2021.
