Stelios Krinidis is an accomplished academic and research professional currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Democritus University of Thrace since March 2024. With a strong background in image processing, computer vision, and artificial intelligence, Stelios holds a PhD from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, awarded in July 2004. Stelios has been associated with the Information Technologies Institute since October 2012 as an Academic Research Partner and Senior Researcher. Additionally, Stelios manages R&D efforts at Pragma-IoT and EnaliaTec P.C. since November 2017 and February 2021, respectively, and has previously held an Assistant Professor position at the International Hellenic University from November 2021 to March 2024.
