Anwesha Banerjee is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since September 2023. Prior to this position, Anwesha served as a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute from September 2020 to August 2023, and worked as ATER at Université de Caen Normandie from January 2019 to September 2020. Anwesha has also held the role of Visiting Researcher at the Centre de Sciences Humaines in Delhi for part of 2018, and was a Research Associate at the Indian School of Business from August 2013 to July 2014. Earlier experience includes a Project Intern position at IMA India in mid-2009. Anwesha holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Aix-Marseille University, a Master of Science in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Stephen's College, Delhi.
