Richard Walsh has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Richard started their career as a Revenue Management Analyst at Ryanair in 2001 and later worked as a Pricing Analyst at Aer Arann. In 2006, they joined Hewlett-Packard as a Bid Desk & P&L Operational Expense Analyst. Moving forward, Richard served as a Regional Sales Manager at Quinn Direct Insurance from 2007 to 2010. Richard then joined ANZ bank in 2010, where they held the positions of Insurance Specialist and Senior Insurance Manager, managing teams and improving sales methods. In 2014, they joined Cornmarket Group Financial Services as a Financial Planning Consultant and also rejoined ANZ as a Senior Insurance Manager, managing a team and collaborating with different divisions to improve sales. Richard continued their insurance management career at Cigna New Zealand as a Senior Insurance Manager. Richard is currently working at Portwest as the Head of International Sales & Customer Service.
Richard Walsh completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) with a specialization in Marketing from Technology University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus from 1994 to 1999. In 2000 to 2001, they attended the University of Galway, where they obtained a Higher Diploma in Marketing. Later on, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a National Certificate in Financial Services with a focus on Mortgages at the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand.
