Sonia X. Xing has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Sonia X. started their career at Progressive Insurance as a Research and Development Analyst from October 2011 to January 2013. Sonia X. then joined Plymouth Rock Assurance, where they worked as a Product Analyst from February 2013 to January 2016. Sonia X. was promoted to the role of Product Manager from January 2016 to June 2018, and later served as a Senior Product Manager from June 2018 to August 2019. Since August 2019, Sonia has been working at Polly, initially as the VP of Insurance Solutions and currently as the VP of Acquisition Analytics.

Sonia X. Xing began their education journey at Beijing No.4 High School, where they completed their High School studies from 2003 to 2006. Sonia X. then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computing Mathematics at City University of Hong Kong, graduating in 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, Sonia went on to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Statistics at Cornell University, completing their studies in 2011.
