Dmytro Yakovets currently serves as the Senior Digital Learning Coordinator for the Polk County School Board, a role held since August 2021. Prior to this position, Dmytro held the role of Biology Teacher at Lake Wales Charter Schools, Inc. from July 2017 to June 2021. Dmytro's career began at The Walt Disney Company, where a position as a Travel Sales Consultant was held from March 2005 to July 2017. Dmytro recently completed a Master of Education degree in Instructional Design and Human Performance Technology from the University of West Florida in August 2023.
