Librarian I - Digital Services at Mastics Moriches Shirley Community Library

Michael Bartolomeo is an experienced librarian specializing in emerging technologies and digital services. Currently serving as a Librarian at South Huntington Public Library since June 2021 and as a Digital Services Librarian at Mastics Moriches Shirley since July 2016, Michael has a strong background in providing reference services to diverse communities, conducting library instruction classes, and performing outreach services. Additional experience includes roles as an Apprentice Librarian and Research and User Engagement Intern at Stony Brook University, where involvement in technical support and course instruction was significant. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science from St. John's University and a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Stony Brook University.
