Maria Haney, MBA, PE, PMP, CRMP, serves as the Vice President of Administration & Governance at PMI Carolina since June 2022, where contributions include advising on governance structure and diversity initiatives. With extensive experience at SERC Reliability Corporation since July 2007, Maria has held multiple leadership roles including Situation Awareness & Events Analysis Manager and Reliability Assessments & Performance Analysis Manager, overseeing teams and implementing strategic programs, including a COVID-19 pandemic response plan. Earlier in their career, Maria worked as a Transmission Planning Engineer at Tennessee Valley Authority and in substation design at Southern Company. Maria holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama and an MBA from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
