Deborah Palmer is a construction executive with experience leading teams on large-scale capital projects. Deborah is currently the MD, New York at PMA Consultants, a position they have held since September 2020.
Previously, Deborah served as the Assoc. Vice President/Program Director Capital Projects at Arcadis from November 2017 to September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading the construction management and administrative teams overseeing 40+ capital projects each year. Her initiatives included operational, capital renewal and strategic projects aimed at enhancing facilities and boosting economic growth.
Before their role at Arcadis, Deborah was the Buildings Business Line Leader / Director of Operations for Mid-Atlantic U.S. at Arcadis from April 2016 to December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for managing a team of engineers and architects in the design and construction of commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings projects.
Prior to their time at Arcadis, Deborah served as the Vice President - Convention Center Market Sector at Hill International, Inc from October 2014 to March 2016. In this role, they oversaw the construction of convention centers across the United States.
Deborah began their career at Hill International, Inc as a Sr. Project Manager in March 2013 where they managed construction projects for clients in the healthcare, hospitality, and retail industries.
Deborah Palmer has a degree from the [University of Pittsburgh and is certified by the American Institute of Architects as an Associate AIA. Deborah also has a certification from CMAA.
