René van 't Hoft is the General Counsel at Pluq, a company specializing in financing, installing, and managing electric vehicle charging points in private car parks since July 2023. With extensive experience in energy, e-mobility, information technology, and privacy law, René operates a legal practice and has served as Counsellor-at-law since October 2015, focusing on contracting, corporate affairs, and European affairs. René has held various academic roles, including board member and treasurer at the Dutch Energy Law Association, lecturer at Sdu, and guest lecturer at the University of Groningen. Previously, René worked in senior legal positions at Delta N.V. and managed a solar energy park at NPG Willebroek NV. René holds multiple Master of Laws degrees from Tilburg University, Translation Academy Maastricht, and Europa-Institut at Saarland University.
