Matt Grattan has extensive work experience in workforce development and economic program development. Matt currently works at Plug Power as a Workforce Development Manager, where they lead and executes on the company's workforce development plan and establishes relationships with governing bodies. Prior to that, they worked at the University at Albany as the Director of Community and Economic Development, managing programs to attract and support new businesses. Matt also served as the Executive Director for Workforce Development at Schenectady County Community College, where they oversaw workforce and economic development programming. Before that, Matt worked at the New York State Department of Labor in various roles, including Contact Center Manager and Manager of Business Services.
Matt Grattan completed their education at several institutions. Matt first attended Hudson Valley Community College from 1984 to 1986, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Business Administration. Following this, they pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration at The College of Saint Rose from 1986 to 1989.
Later, in 2002, they attended The George Washington University School of Business for a short period to earn a Certification in Managing Projects in Organizations (C.E.). In the same year, they also participated in the Project Management Mentoring Program offered by the New York State Office for Technology, completing a program in Project Management.
