Bryan Mayberry has a variety of work experience in mechanical design engineering. Bryan currently works at Plug Power as a Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in new product development for plastic injection molded items. Prior to this, they worked at Naval Nuclear Laboratory as an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, where they played a role in fleet reactor engineering for aircraft carriers and submarines. Bryan also worked at Forms+Surfaces as a Junior Design Engineer, focusing on the design and development of high-quality architectural products. Additionally, they gained experience at Conco Services Corporation as a Junior Engineer, working on the design and prototyping of new products for power and heat exchanger cleaning services. Lastly, they interned at LifeProof as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, conducting tests and designing phone and tablet cases. Throughout their roles, Bryan has utilized various design software including PTC CREO, SolidWorks, and simulation tools.
Bryan Mayberry completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University from 2012 to 2016. Bryan also obtained multiple certifications in SolidWorks from Dassault Systèmes, including becoming a Certified SolidWorks Expert in Mechanical Design (CSWE), a Certified SolidWorks Professional in various areas such as Advanced Surfacing, Advanced Weldments, Advanced Mold Tools, Advanced Sheet Metal, Advanced Drawing Tools, and Mechanical Design, as well as a Certified SolidWorks Associate in both Simulation and Mechanical Design. These certifications were obtained between 2017 and 2018.
