Mohammed Asif is an experienced leader in child rights and development, currently serving as Executive Director at Plan_India since December 2019. Prior to this role, Mohammed Asif held the position of Director - Program Implementation at Plan India from May 2008 to March 2023, overseeing a large team dedicated to child rights initiatives. Mohammed Asif also contributed as Head of Research and Evaluation at Plan International (India) from July 2006 to April 2008 and as Head of Impact Assessment at ActionAid India between January 2001 and June 2006. Educationally, Mohammed Asif holds a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics, earned between 1992 and 1994, and completed Class 12 at De Nobili School in 1986.
