Jason Jones is an experienced professional in the energy sector with a strong background in transmission and distribution operations. Currently serving as a Generation Dispatcher and Master Coordinator at PJM Interconnection since September 2018, Jason previously held positions at PECO Energy as a Senior Transmission System Operator and at NRG Energy as a Distributed Generation Real Time Operator. Jason's earlier experience includes roles at PECO Energy, Amtrak, and the United States Air Force, where responsibilities ranged from monitoring high voltage transmission systems to managing aerial refueling aircraft operations. Jason holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and an Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
