Öykü Arslan has a diverse work experience that spans several roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Student Mentor and Research Assistant at Koç University. From 2015 to 2019, they worked as a Freelance Translator. In 2020, at Aula, they worked as a Product Success team member, helping university educators and students with onboarding and providing support through Zendesk and Zoom meetings. Öykü also worked as a Learning Designer at Aula, collaborating with educators to develop online courses and providing training and support. In 2021, they worked at CUE as a Learning Designer, creating an online course on sexual consent and intercultural communication for university students. Currently, Öykü Arslan is employed as a Product Support Specialist at PixelPool, where they build the knowledge base for their cloud platform and writes content to guide users on maximizing its potential.

Öykü Arslan completed their Bachelor of Arts in English and Comparative Literature from Koç University in 2015. From 2013 to 2014, they also attended Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, where they studied Comparative Literature and Archaeology. Öykü then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Arts in Gender Studies from Utrecht University between 2016 and 2018.
