Sebastian Białkowski is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the Head of Data Science at Pixel Technology since February 2019. In this role, Sebastian leads the creation of medical imaging tools utilizing deep learning and computer vision, focusing on projects such as brain tissue segmentation, detection of multiple sclerosis, spinal cord and kidney tissue segmentation, lung disease classification, and breast cancer detection. Prior to this position, Sebastian worked as a Data Science Researcher, specializing in the design and implementation of deep learning solutions for medical imaging systems. Additionally, Sebastian held academic roles as an Assistant Professor and a Doctoral Researcher at Politechnika Łódzka. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Architecture from Lodz University of Technology and a Master of Architecture from Hochschule Anhalt, complemented by an engineering degree in architecture from Lodz University of Technology.
