Kausik Bhattacharya is a Prime Minister Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) since August 2019, focusing on enhancing creativity in product design through Analogical Reasoning and AI/Machine Learning. Prior to this role, Kausik served as the Social Media Editor for Cambridge University Press & Assessment, where responsibilities included creating and managing content for the journal "Artificial Intelligence for Engineering Design, Analysis and Manufacturing." Kausik's extensive experience in the technology and engineering sectors includes positions as a Product and Service Owner at Johnson & Johnson, where expertise in implementing solutions across various markets was demonstrated, and as a Service Design and Optimization lead at Accenture, focusing on large ERP engagements. Earlier career milestones include roles at GE, where leadership in engineering digitization was evident, and at the Defence Research & Development Organization, specializing in software-based product solutions. Educational credentials include an M.Tech in Engineering from IISc and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Jadavpur University.
