Makiko Green has extensive experience in education, serving as a Teaching Aide at Pioneer Central Schools since 2019 and previously as an ESL tutor from January 2018 to February 2022. Prior roles include English Language Teacher with the Okinawa Board of Education from April 2006 to March 2017, where responsibilities involved facilitating English classes for both Japanese and foreign students, and a Long-Term Substitute English Teacher and Teacher of Returnee Students with the Miyakojima Board of Education from April 2003 to March 2006. Makiko Green's early career included working as a Temporary Desk Receptionist and English Teacher at I-learning Miyakojima Cram School from April 2002 to March 2003. Makiko Green holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies from Empire State University, completed in August 2023, and has an Associate's Degree in English from Nagasaki University of Foreign Studies, along with additional educational experiences at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
