Arun Goel is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Ping Identity since June 2023, Goel previously held senior engineering roles at VMware from July 2018 to June 2023, notably as Senior Director for Tanzu Mission Control and VMware Marketplace. Goel's expertise includes leading teams to develop scalable SaaS solutions and managing complex engineering projects focused on cloud security and marketplace platforms. Prior to VMware, Goel had significant roles at Oracle, Glydel, Aerohive Networks, Brocade, and Cisco Systems, contributing to innovations in cloud infrastructure, IoT, and networking technologies. Goel holds multiple MBA degrees from prestigious institutions including Columbia Business School and UC Berkeley, as well as advanced degrees in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
