Jason Hecker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service, community engagement, and workforce development. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst for the Violence Reduction Initiative at the San Francisco Police Department, Jason analyzes street violence patterns and collaborates with community partners to implement evidence-based intervention strategies. Concurrently, Jason teaches job search skills workshops at Piedmont Adult School. Previously, Jason contributed to the City and County of San Francisco's Human Services Agency in various roles, including Program Manager, where responsibilities included coordinating employment initiatives aimed at reducing violence. Other significant positions include Director of Workforce Development at FACES SF, Senior Facilitator at Learnit, and Executive Director at Literacy Center West. Jason holds a Master of Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Cincinnati.
