Chris Rella has significant experience in atmospheric modeling and measurements, specializing in greenhouse gases and related tracers. Currently serving as a Picarro Research Fellow at Picarro, Inc. since November 2000, Chris Rella has held various leadership roles, including Director of R&D, Director of Product Development, and Director of Optical Design. Notable contributions include the development of new molecular analysis technologies and the design of gas measurement instrumentation utilizing Cavity Ringdown Spectroscopy. Prior to Picarro, Chris Rella worked at Agilent Technologies as an Optical Engineer and served as a Research Fellow at Stanford University, as well as a Postdoc at FOM Instituut AMOLF in the Netherlands. Chris Rella holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Stanford University and a B.S. in Mathematical Physics from Case Western Reserve University.
