Karan Sharma is an experienced laboratory manager specializing in environmental solutions, currently employed at Clean Earth since January 2020. Previous roles include customer success associate at Figure from October 2022 to February 2023, and study manager and research assistant at Charles River Laboratories between July 2015 and May 2019. Karan's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Nevada, Reno, attained in 2012. During the time at the University, Karan conducted research on bark beetles and their interactions with host trees under the guidance of Dr. Claus Tittiger, and also served as an admission specialist and student ambassador.
