S. Tyler Shultz

Dr. Shultz graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 2011, and completed the Clinical Residency in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy at the Massachusetts General Hospital’s Institute of Health Professions in 2015. He is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy. He has practiced in both inpatient and outpatient orthopaedics, as well as home health.

Dr. Shultz is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Wingate University in Charlotte, NC where he assists in the orthopaedic curriculum, clinical integration, and prosthetics and orthotics. His research interests include physical therapy teaching and learning, as well as technology assisted gait. He volunteers on the Public Relations Board and is the Section Historian for the Academy of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy of the APTA.
