Dr. Michael Curtis graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology in 2007, and from Azusa Pacific University in 2012 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In 2013, Dr. Curtis participated in the Kaiser Permanente Orthopaedic Residency Program and became a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist.
Dr. Curtis is currently a full-time Physical Therapist with Kaiser Permanente where he is a part of the healthy workforce group and a regular contributor for the Downey Gateway Newsletter.
In 2016, Dr. Curtis authored an eBook on upper and lower crossed syndromes and started his own website and blog at MichaelCurtisPT.com. Here he provides weekly evidence-based articles on health, fitness, wellness, injury prevention, and physical therapy – all geared toward the general public.
