J. Brian O'Neill, A.A.E has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. J. Brian started their career in 1988 as an Assistant to the Mayor in the City of Manchester, NH. In 1990, they became the Vice President of Government and Public Affairs at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce. J. Brian then joined Porter McGee Public Relations in 1993 as the Director of Community and Government Relations. In 1996, they moved to the City of Manchester Department of Aviation and served as the Assistant Airport Director in charge of Business Development, Marketing, and Public Relations until 2007. From 2007 to 2015, they held the position of Deputy Airport Director in the same department. In 2015, they joined the Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport Authority as the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer, and in 2016, they were appointed as the Executive Director and CEO. Throughout their career, J. Brian O'Neill has acquired an extensive understanding of airport operations, public relations, and government affairs.
J. Brian O'Neill, A.A.E. obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Marketing from UNH Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics in the years 1981 to 1985. Subsequently, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Southern New Hampshire University. In 2012, they completed the Accredited Airport Executive (A.A.E.) program at American Association of Airport Executives (A.A.A.E.).
