Laura Swartz is a seasoned editor and writer with a strong background in digital media and community engagement. Currently serving as the Deputy Editor, Digital at Philadelphia magazine since March 2022, Laura previously worked as a Freelance Writer for The Philadelphia Inquirer and as Editor for Family Focus Media, where responsibilities included reporting, writing, and social media promotion focused on family-oriented content. Laura also contributed as a Contributing Writer and Event Host for Mommy Nearest, facilitating community events and partnerships. Laura holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Temple University's James E. Beasley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Anthropology and Peace and Conflict Studies from Haverford College.
