Peter Perkins is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare administration and emergency management. Currently serving as the Director of Safety, Security, and Emergency Management at Phelps Health since April 2020, Peter previously held multiple leadership roles in the US Army from 1994 to 2020, including Executive Healthcare Administrator for a community hospital and various operational and management positions within expeditionary healthcare. Peter's expertise encompasses strategic planning, human resources management, and training compliance, having successfully earned OSHA Safety Star accreditation for hospital training programs. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management from American Military University and an Associate of Arts from Cameron University, along with training from the United States Sergeants Major Academy.
