Matthew Olson is an accomplished cybersecurity and information security professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Global Security Operations Center at Providence Health & Services since August 2016, Matthew has a track record of advancing cybersecurity measures. Prior to this position, Matthew worked as an IS Cyber Security Specialist at Robert Half Technology for a brief period and held a significant role as a Senior IT Security Specialist at Weyerhaeuser, where responsibilities included implementing and maintaining Intrusion Prevention and Security Information and Event Management Systems. Matthew's military background includes serving in the US Army as an Information Assurance/System Administrator and a Database Administrator Security System Administrator, where critical system and network accreditations were conducted. Matthew holds an education from the University of Maryland Global Campus, completed between 2001 and 2008.
