Jared Barton started their work experience in 2014 as a Retail Account Specialist at Southern Wine & Spirits. Jared then joined Inventory iQ in 2015, where they worked as a Sales Associate and Inventory Consultant. In 2018, they were promoted to the role of Chief Marketing Officer and later became the Chief Executive Officer in 2019. In 2020, Jared co-founded Pharmacy Marketplace.

Jared Barton attended Auburn University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
