Venkatesh Kumar has over 15 years of work experience in the engineering field. Venkatesh started their career as an Engineer at BGR Energy Systems in February 2006 and worked there until November 2007. After that, they joined Larsen & Toubro Power as a Senior Engineer in November 2007 and stayed there until March 2011. Venkatesh then moved to GMR Group as an Associate Manager from March 2011 to June 2013. Currently, they are working at Petrofac as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, specializing in Rotating Equipment, since June 2013-present.

Venkatesh Kumar completed their High School education at Saru Matriculation from 1999 to 2001. Venkatesh then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Anna University from 2001 to 2005.
