Jean d Amour AKIMANIZANYE's work experience begins in 2016 when they joined Data systems Ltd as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they worked on a Learning Management System called eShuri, which targeted high schools and universities. Jean d Amour was able to create a student progressive report for every student. Jean d Amour'srole at Data systems Ltd lasted until March 2019.

After that, Jean joined Andela in April 2019 as a Software Engineer. Jean d Amour worked on building pusher notifications for a product called HealthID, an inventory management and customer engagement software platform designed for pharmacists/chemists and their customers. Jean d Amour also served as a Team Lead at Andela from April 2020 to June 2020.

In August 2020, Jean became a Software Development Consultant at HDI Rwanda, where they worked until December 2020.

From December 2020 to August 2021, they worked as a Freelance Software Engineer at Benipal Technologies.

Currently, Jean holds the position of Lead Software Engineer at PesaChoice LLC. Jean d Amour'sresponsibilities include leading a team of junior and mid-level software engineers, mentoring and coaching software developers, and providing technological guidance and overseeing engineering projects. Jean d Amour started this role in October 2021.

Jean d Amour AKIMANIZANYE obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree from the University of Rwanda, where they studied Computer Science from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, they have received certifications in Project Management from Google in September 2021, Data Science Math Skills from Duke University in December 2020, and Data Analytics from Google (with missing information regarding the month and year of attainment).
