Romit Jain has extensive experience in communications and public affairs, currently serving as Acting VP Group Communications at Permobil since October 2017, where previous roles include Group Communications Manager. Jain's background includes leadership as Director of the Board of Directors at the American International School of Johannesburg from June 2020 to June 2022. Jain's career also features significant positions at the European Centre for Disease Control, where notable achievements include leading communications during the West Africa Ebola crisis and managing executive director appointments. Earlier experience includes roles such as External Affairs Director at the New Economics Foundation and Director of Private Sector Initiatives at the International Crisis Group, where strategic donor cultivation efforts led to significant funding. Jain holds an MSc in European Politics and Policy from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc in Mathematics and Philosophy from The University of Manchester.
