Qiming Jin is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as Group Lead for Global Strain Engineering at Perfect Day since June 2021, where leadership of a global team focuses on food protein strain development. Prior to this role, Qiming was a Senior Scientist and Strain Engineering Team Lead at Perfect Day, specializing in dairy protein strain development. At Novozymes, Inc., from September 2004 to March 2021, Qiming held various positions including Senior Scientist/Project Leader, leading projects on protein expression in fungal hosts and industrial production strain optimization, as well as involving in biofuel industrial process development. Qiming's earlier research includes enzyme screening in both biofuel and household care applications, with a foundation built on a PhD in Biochemistry from KU Leuven and a B.S. in Chemistry from Shandong University.
