Senior Director Of Product Development And Innovation at Perdue

Sonya Whited is an accomplished professional in product development and innovation, currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Development and Innovation at Perdue Farms since September 2005. In this role, Sonya oversees product development across all food brands, collaborates with Marketing Directors of Innovation, and leads the culinary department to initiate new products. Previously, Sonya held various positions at Perdue Farms, including Senior Director of Retail Product Development and Director of Process, Packaging, and Commercialization, focusing on product innovation and commercialization processes. Prior to Perdue, Sonya worked at Unilever Bestfoods from 1993 to 2005, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of process modifications for beverage and peanut butter product lines. Sonya holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University, earned between 1989 and 1994.
