Steve Cary is a seasoned Data Analytics Consultant currently at Percipience Consulting, LLC since August 2020 and also a Business Owner at Vertex Decisions LLC since July 2019. With a strong foundation in data analytics, Cary previously worked at IBM from November 1996 to November 2016, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of applications utilizing IBM Watson cognitive computing and the management of projects aimed at optimizing operational efficiencies for clients such as Shell Oil. Cary's career began in the United States Army, serving from 1976 to 1994 in various intelligence and operations roles. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kansas State University.
