Sayan De Sarkar, PhD, currently serves as a Data Science Manager at Voya India since October 2024. Prior to this role, Sayan held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Anheuser-Busch InBev from January 2022 to November 2024, and worked as a Data Scientist at Zebra Technologies between November 2019 and December 2021. Sayan also contributed as a Data Science Researcher at the University at Buffalo, where significant funding of USD 175,000 was secured from the National Science Foundation to address traveler's parking choice problems. Additional experience includes consulting for The World Bank on transportation policies in Beirut and Grand Casablanca, and various academic roles at the University at Buffalo, including Adjunct Instructor and Teaching Assistant. Sayan's academic qualifications encompass a PhD in Economics from the University at Buffalo, complemented by a Master's degree in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira.
