Cristian Ames Torres is a seasoned technology professional with experience in technical product ownership and project management, currently serving as a Sr Technical Product Owner at Pearson since October 2022. Cristian has a strong background in managing engineering teams, having led diverse groups of up to 18 engineers at True North, where notable achievements include improving sprint velocity and executing complex financial integrations. Prior to this, Cristian contributed as a Delivery Manager and Engineering Manager at Wolox, overseeing significant projects such as the development of a digital wallet and a major logistics migration. Cristian began a career at SAP, where initial experience included system refactoring and development in ABAP. Cristian holds a degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad Tecnológica Nacional.
