Adrian Benavides is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and development within international organizations. Currently serving as Program Manager for Peace Corps Response in Costa Rica since April 2016, Adrian is responsible for the planning and administration of the program. Previous roles include Programming and Training Specialist, where Adrian designed and evaluated a comprehensive training program for U.S. volunteers, and Research Assistant at UNDP, focusing on Green Climate Fund project proposals. Additional experience includes work as a researcher at The University of Queensland and Regional Project Coordinator for Reto Juvenil Internacional, managing rural development projects across Central America. Adrian also contributed to communication strategies at the United Nations. Academically, Adrian holds a Master's degree in Development Practice from The University of Queensland and completed a Specialist in Project Management at Tecnológico de Costa Rica, alongside a Licentiate degree in Advertising Design from Universidad LCI Veritas.
