Sherese Armstrong, MHRM, serves as a Recruiting and Placement Partner at the Personnel Board of Jefferson County since May 2016, where responsibilities include consulting with management on strategic recruiting plans, developing branding and recruitment strategies for a large Merit System, and sourcing a diverse candidate pool with a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Prior experience includes serving as a Human Resources Technician within the same organization, where task management encompassed maintaining HRIS systems, processing applications, and facilitating departmental projects. Sherese has previous experience as an Administrative Clerk at the Birmingham Police Department, managing personnel records and ensuring compliance with department regulations. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University.
