Melanie Peterson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in data governance and business intelligence. Currently serving as the Director of Data Governance at Patterson Companies, Inc. since March 2015, Melanie has held various leadership roles focused on strategic planning and stakeholder communication in Business Intelligence and Analytics. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Target, where responsibilities encompassed developing the BI roadmap, master data strategy for international expansion, and leading major programs such as the $110MM Merchandising BI roadmap. Melanie's career began as a Web Developer at MLT Inc., and holds a B.A. in Biology and Psychology from the College of Saint Benedict.
