John Paul Richey, PMP, PMI-RMP, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Senior Consultant/Project Manager at nGenera CIM, where they played a key role in implementing dark pools of liquidity for an electronic equities exchange. In 2009, they joined S&P Global Market Intelligence as a Director of Business Analysis and Project Management, leading global teams and spearheading data integration efforts for financial data. In 2013, they worked as an Analytics Engineer at Zocdoc.

From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Head of Operations at BondCliQ and Principal at ViableMkts LLC, where they developed and managed client engagements and vendor relationships, delivering web, mobile, and feed product offerings. John Paul then joined True Trade Limited in 2018 as a Technology Lead, leading data center coordination efforts for a global currency trading startup.

In 2019, John Paul Richey became the Director of Product Management at ROKO Labs, responsible for client relationships and leading cross-functional teams in product development and digital transformation initiatives. During this time, they also took on the role of Director of Platform and Integrations at BFS Capital, where they owned the internal data platform and integration strategy.

In 2021, they became the Senior Director of Technical Product Management at H1, collaborating with the executive leadership team to define and deliver product vision and strategy. John Paul also defined product strategy for a next-gen data platform using Spark on K8s, Apache Hudi, and Kafka streaming.

In 2022, they joined Redesign Health as the Director of Technical Program Management, partnering with data science and engineering teams to generate insights and launch product ideas at scale in the healthcare industry.

Currently, John Paul Richey works at Patient Discovery as the Director of Data Products, where they build data products and pipelines to transform raw data into actionable insights, aiming to transform the way patients are understood, supported, and treated.

Throughout their career, John Paul Richey has continuously demonstrated expertise in data analysis, project management, and technical product management, applying agile methodologies and driving successful outcomes in various organizations.

John Paul Richey, PMP, PMI-RMP, holds an AA/BA degree from New York University and a General Studies degree from SUNY New Paltz. John Paul also obtained a High School Diploma from Choate Rosemary Hall. In addition to their educational background, Richey has achieved various certifications, including Series 7 from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), as well as the Project Management Professional (PMP) and PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) certifications from the Project Management Institute.
