Lora Reineck has diverse experience in clinical research and critical care. Lora is currently employed as a Program Director for Clinical Research at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute from 2014 to 2022, holding roles such as Program Officer for Acute Lung Injury & Critical Care and Acting Branch Chief for Lung Biology & Disease Branch. Lora also worked as a Critical Care Physician at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital from 2020 to 2022 and at CAPITAL CRITICAL CARE LLC from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they have experience as an Instructor of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 2013 to 2014 and as a Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellow at UPMC from 2010 to 2013. Lora Reineck began their career as an Internal Medicine Resident at the University of Michigan from 2006 to 2009, where they later served as Chief Medical Resident from 2009 to 2010.
Lora Reineck has an impressive educational background. Lora first attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology & Mathematics. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree. Later, Lora pursued further education at the University of Pittsburgh from 2012 to 2014, earning a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research and Health Services Research.
