Sergey L. is a Machine Learning Researcher and Software Engineer at Lablup Inc. (Backend.AI) since July 2020, focusing on building demos and prototypes utilizing Large Language Models and developing the VisuTale multimodal story and image generator. Prior experience includes roles as a Researcher and Data Scientist at Who's Good from November 2016 to December 2019, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Interactive Computing Lab of the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) from September 2014 to August 2016, where Sergey researched mountain trail inference algorithms using large GPS datasets. Sergey pursued both a Bachelor's and Master's degree at KAIST, earning a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Management Science (2010-2014) and a Master's in Knowledge Service Engineering (2014-2016). Additional experience includes web development and internships involving software development and semantic web research.
